Motorcycle Trailer Carrier
How can I transport my Moped with my car?
I’m trying to do this without spending lots of money. I have a 98 honda civic.
The obvious (and expensive) answers are to get a hitch mount installed (like $150 or more) and buy a real motorcycle carrier thing (probably like $150 or more, I don’t know) OR get the hitch mount and a trailer (probably like $300 or $400).
My idea is to get a roof-mount bike rack, and just strap it down like a normal bike. I figure that a back mount bike rack wouldn’t be strong enough to hold the weight. Do you think that would work?
Has anyone done this or have any good ideas? Thanks so much!
